Chuck Butterfield

Biography

Chuck’s musical journey is a heartfelt tale that began with him harmonizing to country tunes on the radio as a young child. His innate passion for music was evident almost from the moment he could speak. By the age of 10, he was already a budding performer, charming family gatherings with performances alongside his siblings.

At 15, Chuck’s musical destiny was sealed when he purchased his first guitar. Since then, he has dedicated himself to crafting songs, honing his vocal skills, and mastering guitar play. Throughout his teenage years, music remained a joyful pursuit, a passion that he later shared with his four children through soothing lullabies.

Chuck’s love for music seamlessly blended into his professional life as an educator, where his guitar became a fixture in the classroom, much to the delight of his students. In the 90s, he took his musical aspirations to new heights by joining his first band, marking the beginning of over three decades of performing with various groups.

Initially starting as a vocalist, Chuck expanded his musical repertoire about 20 years ago by taking up the bass guitar, adding another layer to his already impressive skill set.

Now enjoying retirement in Eagle, ID, with his wife Wendy, Chuck’s life is a beautiful blend of music, travel, and adventure. The couple shares a love for the open road, having explored all the lower 48 states on their Harley Davidson motorcycle. It’s no surprise that Tennessee, with its rich country music heritage, holds a special place in their hearts, symbolizing the essence of Chuck’s lifelong musical journey.
